On the first day of your Kruger safari adventure you have the option to collect your 4x4 Suzuki Jimny vehicle fully equipped for camping, from Johannesburg (5:00 - 6:00 hrs travel time to Kruger) or fly in to the town of Hoedspruit, where you will land in the heart of the African bush. (A short and scenic 1 hrs drive to the nearest Kruger Park entry gate.)

As you enter the park, you’ll have the freedom to explore the park at your own pace. Giving you the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including the famous Big 5 and a host of other species including giraffe, zebra, various antelope, hippo and more.

When it's time to rest for the night, simply set up camp at one of the park's designated campsites. Your 4x4 comes equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fridge / freezer, spacious tent, camping chairs, table, and cooking equipment. With the freedom to choose your own campsites and set your own schedule, you'll be able to truly immerse yourself in the wilderness and make the most of your time in Kruger.

Campsites are situated in the Kruger Park main rest camps, which are fenced in from animals, with clean ablution facilities, camp shop and swimming pool. Each campsite has electricity and a Braai / BBQ.

As your self-drive 4x4 safari adventure comes to a close, you'll pack up camp and set off on your final game drive towards the nearest Kruger Park exit gate. With a wealth of memories from your unforgettable journey, you'll cherish every last moment in the park before making your way to Johannesburg via a 5-6 hour road trip, or catching a flight out of Hoedspruit, which is just a short drive from Kruger National Park.

This is a self drive, self catering and self setup and breakdown package, guests have the option of providing their own meals, or we can prepare preplanned meal packs for you, to be collected before entering the Kruger Park.
